A Note from Our Board Chair

A new year has begun with all sorts of possibilities for our Church. Though we are small, we are mighty with members who are dedicated, creative, welcoming and committed to more than just doing an obligation on Sunday morning. There is so much we can do to be the loving presence of God in the lives of those in our community.
One small way-we have a Card Ministry that requires so little time and brings smiles to our friends who are shut-ins due to illness or who are experiencing loss. If we had more volunteers for this ministry, we could expand our connections to remember Birthdays or send get well wishes for someone in the hospital. 

There are so many ways to invigorate our lives by reaching out beyond ourselves to touch others in Christian love and support. What are your ideas? 
As your Board Chairperson, I would love to know your thoughts on making 2023 a year of spiritual enlightenment, community growth and Christian outreach.
