First Christian Church of Claremore (Disciples of Christ)
First of all, I would like to thank the members of First Christian Church in Claremore for continuing to support me in doing what I love to do. It is a great joy and honor for me to serve God through the church and to move with you all through this journey of faith. I am excited to see where the next leg or our journey might lead.

As most of you already know, my title within the church has changed from Music Director to Worship Director and with that comes an expanded list of duties and responsibilities. Most of those expanded duties I have already been doing as the chair of the worship committee, but that will look a little different moving forward. We will no longer have a “worship committee,” but I will be asking for volunteers to serve on “worship teams”. The teams will be focused on a specific season like Lent or Advent rather than committing to serve on a committee for a whole year. I will be working closely with Rev. Alexis to establish themes for each season and those teams will be needed to help find creative ways to help support those themes. The team members will also help with completing some of the tasks such as gathering supplies and decorating the sanctuary. If that sounds like something that you would be willing to help with, please let me or Rev. Alexis know.

I will also continue to lead music through the praise band and with songs out of the hymnal. I will also work to find other creative ways to inspire through song. I really miss having a choir and I remain hopeful that more people will come our way who are interested in singing in a choir. In the meantime, I am planning to put together something simple with the bells for Easter. If any of you are interested in playing bells, please let me know. We can adjust the rehearsal time or day if needed, but I plan to start rehearsals for that on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 PM. That will give us 8 weeks to prepare.
With you on the journey,

Sean Robinson

Worship Director
