First Christian Church of Claremore (Disciples of Christ)
We say the LORD's Prayer every Sunday - but why? You are invited to join us for a sermon series and small group experience that explores what made, and continues to make, the LORD's Prayer revolutionary, transformative, loving, liberating, and life-giving.

We will begin this series in worship on January 8 by considering why prayer might matter and how Jesus' approach to prayer might inform our own.

The small group series begins for those meeting at the church at 10:30 on January 16 and for those meeting at 7 PM via Zoom on January 17.

The Greatest Prayer: Rediscovering the Revolutionary Message of The LORD's Prayer by John Dominique Crossan will be our guide. An $8.00 donation to the Sutton Fund will help offset the cost of the books, although payment is not required. All seekers are welcome to be part of our small group experiences.

Contact Rev. Alexis if you would like to be part of this learning experience in which you, your questions, and your experiences are welcome: Alexis@fccclaremore.org

IMPORTANT: Do you have a middle-high school student in your life? Reach out to Rev. Alexis to learn about intergenerational possibilities, including ways to talk about this prayer with the young people in your life.
