Upcoming Sermon Series and Book Discussion Group: Jesus Said What?!?

How can we responsibly interpret some of the sayings of Jesus that a person might prefer to skip over, phrases like "sell what you own"(Luke 18:22) and "hate father and mother"(Luke 14:26)? Join us as we explore these intriguing and challenging passages together and imagine how we might put them to use in ways that are loving, liberating, and life-giving. The new sermon series is tentatively scheduled to begin on June 11, and book discussion groups using The Difficult Words of Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine will begin June 19.
