Matthew 5:16 - In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.

J.O.G.

Every third Sunday we pass around a jogging shoe to collect money for a Random Act of Kindness to share with someone in our community. To decide who gets the blessing of sharing this act, we use a singing pickle. We pass the pickle around until it stop singing and that person gets the honor of sharing the money with someone in the community.

Friendship Feast

A free, hot meal served every Monday in our Family Life Center.

This is such a successful ministry, meeting the needs of neighbors in need of a good meal and neighbors in need of fellowship. First Christian is becoming known in the area as “the home of Friendship Feast.” The second Monday of the month, our friends from Redeemer Lutheran prepare and serve the meal. If you'd like to become involved, please send  Susan Kotoff, our Administrative Assistant an email at adminasst@fccclaremore.org
